Vittorio Zecchin and Napoleone Martinuzzi were prominent Venetian glassworkers and founders of Zecchin-Martinuzzi Vetri Artistici e Mosaici. The glassmaking firm was known to stray from traditional Murano glass styles, opting for more irregular and opaque pieces.
A 1920s Zecchin-Martinuzzi vase, crafted from dark amber transparent glass with ribbed detailing. Featured in Marino Barovier's 2014 book, Napoleone Martinuzzi Venini, 1925-1931.
