Overview:
In season, you will assist with the daily tasks of the wholesale team. These tasks include sample trafficking, preparing for ecommerce shoots/clinics/trunk shows, creating buy books and stock books, updating by style selling, visiting local department stores and merchandising the collection, as well as working on various projects in Excel and PowerPoint.
Sample trafficking:
Interns will assist and sometimes be held completely accountable for sample trafficking of sales usage. Sample trafficking is the logging in and out of samples to and from shoots/companies/persons as well as the organizing of messengers/FedEx/DHL shipments for these sample loans for ecommerce photoshoots and editorial shoots.
Buy Books & Stock books:
Interns will be responsible for creating buy books for major department stores and partners. Buy books show an account’s buy per collection along with photos, sizing, descriptions, SRP pricing, and quantities on a by door level.
Visits to Department Stores, Merchandising & Events:
Interns will be assigned to visit local NY department stores on a weekly basis to help merchandise the floor, help host private luncheon and shopping events with the sales team and the designer.
Managing Office supplies:
From time to time, you will be responsible for the ordering and organization of office supplies and ordering catering needs for market week.
Market Week Assistance:
During market week, you will be working in the showroom while sales executives are meeting with buyers. You will help with styling and private VIP events in our showroom.
