The cornflower, though not indigenous to Egypt, arrived by way of Western Asian traders importing grain seed. Egyptians found the cornflower to have healing properties, and used it to cleanse the body, treat fevers, and soothe tired eyes.
A ruffle V-neck gown made from double-layer printed silk crepon and lined in silk crepe de chine. Features delicate pico-stitched shoulder ties and a functional tie at the waist. Detailed with a hidden center-back zipper and double hook and thread closures at the neck opening for additional coverage. As seen on the Spring 2023 runway.
