A status symbol of the Dutch Golden Age and cherished for its rarity, the pearl is regularly present in the works of Dutch painter, Johannes Vermeer.
A column construction top in Italian wool crepe. An Adam Lippes signature; pearl buttons line the left side of the garment and a single pearl button punctuates each of the shoulder straps at the back. Functional as well, the bottom two buttons open for ease of wear. A hidden zipper at the center back and hook and eye closure allow for easy on and off.
